Holloway Paralympian honoured with MBE
Sophie was awarded the MBE for her contribution to disabled sport after she inspired Sir Paul McCartney’s £2m fundraising campaign in support of ParalympicsGB. Sophie also won two gold medals and a silver in equestrian events at the Beijing Paralympics.
Sophie commented: “Without my family I wouldn’t be where I am today…Since Beijing I’ve gone back to university to do my third year. It’s been hectic but that’s the way I like it!”
